The choice of materials determines how sturdy and long-lasting a high chair will be. Solid wood, particularly European beech, provides a stable seat, with sturdy legs that take up less floor space while supporting your child as they grow. On adjustable models, the armrests, backrest and footrest can be adapted to fit first your baby and then your child, without compromising the original construction. A harness is an essential safety consideration, whatever the model; our high chairs have a five-point harness. Compared with plastic, which is lighter but sometimes less durable, European wood offers reassuring strength and timeless style.
